Admission Process

How to Apply


  • For classes Nur to IX and XI Registration Forms are available online and at school reception on all working days from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
  • Please read the instructions carefully before filling out the registration form to avoid rejection of your form. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
  • To avoid rejection, DO NOT fill out more than one form for one applicant.
  • Fill in the registration form in online mode or manually at the school reception. Once the form is filled and submitted Registration number will be provided to the applicant.
  • Registration fee Rs.25 /- once paid not refundable. Registration does not guarantee admission.
  • The schedule of the further process will be informed upon submission of the filled Registration form in online/offline mode.
  • Selected students will be informed through E-mail/SMS/WhatsApp messages.
  • Transfer Certificate to be submitted to the school office after getting admission.
  • Admission formalities are to be fulfilled by the parents in the event of selection.
  • Submission of the admission form, important documents, and fees will complete the admission process.
  • Age Criteria for Entry-level Admissions as per Department of Education

    1. Nursery: Less than 04 years as of 31st March of the year.
    2. Pre-Primary: Less than 05 years as of 31st  March of that year
    3. 1st class: Less than 06 years as of 31st March of that year.
    4. The admissions to the Higher classes are done based on vacancies in a particular class and the child should have passed the previous class from a recognized school affiliate to CBSE.
    5. Note – Application not fulfilling the criteria will be rejected.

    6. Note: Vide circular No: F, DE.15(172)/PSB/2016/9483-9492 dated 21/11/2022  the age relaxation for admission of up to 30 days may be granted at the level of Head of school in the minimum & upper age limit for these classes. The parents may approach the Head of School/Principal to seek age relaxation through a manual application.
FOR ADMISSION TO  EWS/Disadvantaged Group/Children With Special Need  CATEGORIES

No private unaided school shall process the admission of EWS/DG/CWSN freeship category students manually. The department shall conduct a computerized draw of lots for admission of EWS/DG/CWSN category students in r/o all the Private unaided Recognized Schools and freeship category students in r/o all the private Unaided Recognized Schools running on Government land and regulated by the Directorate of Education guidelines.

Documents required at the time of admission/application
  • The latest passport-size photo of Mother, Father, and Child.
  • Birth Certificate of Child reflecting parent’s and child’s name and issued by the Municipal Corporation Local bodies as applicable. An affidavit or any other evidence is not acceptable in support of the date of birth for admission:
    1. Certificate of Category ( ST, ST, OBC, if applicable)
    2. Address Proof- (Ration Card/Domicile certificate of child or his/her parents/Voter I-Card(EPIC) of parents/Electricity bill/Passport in the name of Parent or child/Aadhar Card/UID card issued in the name of any of the parents.
    3. Sibling Proof (if applicable)
    4. Parent’s Alumni Proof (if applicable)
    5. Report Card & Transfer Certificate.
  • Classes II to IX and XI admission – a copy of score card/Report card from the previous school. An original transfer certificate is required from the previous school for students seeking admission at The Samarth School, Dilshad Garden, in class II and above.

Class XI courses offered for the Academic year 2023-24

HUMANITIES STREAM


Main Subject: English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Economics.

Optional subject: Informatic Practices( IP), Physical Education, Painting.

ENTRANCE


  • All the parents who have registered their children will be informed about the admission test schedule through an e-mail/SMS/WhatsApp message.
  • For Classes Nur- KG: There will be no entrance exam.
  • For classes II to IX and XI: All details related to the admission test schedule and syllabus etc. will be shared through an email, SMS/WhatsApp message.

Note:


  • In case you fail to take admission on the date specified, the vacancy will be offered to the next candidate. The decision of the school about the admission will be final and binding.
  • The school transport is available on the selected routes special for the Junior wing ( please CLICK HERE to see the current plying routes).
  • The transport facility is an optional/additional facility and depends on the availability of the seats.
