Admission Process

We advise all parents and guardians to visit the official school website prior to filling the admission form, to acquaint themselves with detailed information about the school.

Please note, any incomplete or incorrect application will be automatically rejected.

  • No printed prospectus is being sold. Only a non-refundable registration fee of ₹25/- will be charged, and the payment must be made online only.
  • Retain the transaction ID and a copy of the filled form as proof of submission.
  • Only one registration per child is permitted. Multiple applications will result in the cancellation of registration.
  • Only the printout of the successfully submitted registration form, along with the Google Map print showing the aerial distance from your residence to school (Gate No.1), will be considered. Kindly drop this set in the designated dropbox at School Gate No.1.
  • The school will use Google Maps to calculate aerial distance for admission consideration. You may refer to the link provided on the school website for guidance.
  • Please ensure that all details are double-checked before submission, as no changes can be made after final submission. Any mismatch in distance or details will lead to the cancellation of the application.
  • Admission will be provisional and subject to successful document verification. The list of shortlisted candidates and waiting list will be displayed on the school’s notice board and website.

Documents Required at the Time of Admission

  • Birth Certificate of the child (mentioning child and parents’ names).
  • Valid Residential Proof (any one of the following):
    • Ration Card/Smart Card issued in the parents’ name with the child’s name.
    • Domicile certificate of the child.
    • Voter ID (EPIC) – Address must match in both parents’ IDs.
    • Electricity Bill / MTNL Telephone Bill / Water Bill / Passport (in parent’s name).
    • Aadhaar Card of father, mother, and child – address must match in all.
    • Note: Rent deed is not accepted as proof of residence.
  • Photographs: Two passport-size photos each of the father, mother, and child.
  • Previous School Records (if applicable).
  • Transfer Certificate from the last attended school.

If any discrepancy is found in DOB, address, or any other crucial detail, the registration will be cancelled immediately.

There is no preference or weightage given to parents’ educational qualifications, occupation, or income.

IMPORTANT:

As per the Directorate of Education Circular No.F.DE.15(172)/PSB/2016/4861-4871 dated 30/11/2021, all applicants falling under the 30-day age relaxation bracket (for both minimum and maximum age) must visit the school in person with a written application, between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM on working days, and meet the Admission In-Charge.

The Birth Certificate must carry the same name of child and parents as provided in the registration form.

Keep a copy of the confirmation receipt emailed to you for future reference.

At the Time of Admission / Document Verification

  • The Aadhaar/UID card of both parents and the child must reflect the same residential address.

The Voter ID Cards of both parents must also show the same address.

FOR ADMISSION TO EWS AND DISADVANTAGED CATEGORIES


Admissions for EWS, Disadvantaged Categories, and Children with Special Needs will be conducted strictly in accordance with the norms and rules set by the Directorate of Education.

Important Instructions for Filling Online Application Form for Pre-School Admission

  • Fields marked with (*) are mandatory.
  • Please retain the transaction ID and form copy post-submission.
  • Distance from the residence to the school will be calculated using aerial measurement on Google Maps (from Gate No.1).
  • Any discrepancy in the provided distance will result in cancellation of the form/admission.

Guidelines for Uploading Photograph

  • Ensure the photograph has a dark background.
  • Upload a recent passport-size photo of the child (taken within the last 1 month).
  • Maximum file size: 40 KB.
  • File name format should be: RegistrationNumber.jpg
    (e.g., 220220001.jpg)

Corrections & Duplicate Entries

  • Once submitted, no corrections will be allowed.
  • In case of any error, you must:
    • Submit a new form with a fresh registration number.
    • Inform the school via email (admission@thesamarthschool.edu.in) to cancel the previous registration, or it will be considered a duplicate and get rejected.
  • For single-parent applicants, enter the applicable Father or Mother details only.

Note on Online Payment-

🚫 Do not refresh or click the back arrow during the online payment process to avoid errors or transaction failure.
