Smart & Spacious Classrooms
Every classroom at our school is spacious, bright, ventilated, and furnished with comfortable furniture that is ergonomically designed conforming to the standards specified for students to develop the right posture and comfortably sit. Each classroom is equipped with a smart board that comes with a host of interactive features, providing a very lively and enriching session between the students and the teacher. Also, each class session can be recorded allowing recaps for the next class.
Library- A World of Books
The school has a well-equipped computerized Library for the Seniors and Juniors. It caters to the needs and interests of children of all ages. To inculcate the habit of reading in the children and to encourage them, the school has a reading club. To make learning more interesting and effective. The library supplies teachers with a range of reference books, and other material to enrich their classroom activities and teaching.
Sports Facility
We recognize the need and importance of games and sports for the development of the all-round personality of a child. We provide a variety of games and sports facilities based on the need and interest of the child and these also help the child to understand that a sound mind in a fit body is a pre-requisite for scholastic achievement. Values such as teamwork, self-control, discipline, courage, confidence, perseverance, determination, and a sense of belonging are instilled among the children through a wide range of games and sports programs.
Science Laboratory
The School has a dedicated lab & well equipped with apparatus, instruments” and other useful resources. The benefits of labs go even further in reinforcing practical skills by using the instructions correctly.
Computer Lab
For the Digital natives, the usage of computers is not restricted to learning and applying the knowledge of the computer software but also mindfully making use of technology. Hence, Cyber safety and rules are an integral part of the school curriculum.
The computer labs have all the software required for academic purposes, and hardware and software will continuously be upgraded to cope with the latest technology and trends.
Infirmary
Medical facilities are provided to all the students in case of illness & injury. Medical information of each child is maintained in the infirmary. The full-time nurse and doctor visit every Tuesday and Thursday to provide medical care and support to the school students. An annual medical check-up is performed for each child in the school. The school maintains constant contact with the parents in case of serious illnesses and injuries. The school also has maintained tie-ups with prestigious hospitals in the vicinity.
Instrumental Music Room
The Instrumental Music Room is well equipped with various musical instruments to give wings to students’ musical flair in various competitions and functions. The school is adequately prepared with the required facilities and infrastructure for smooth learning.
Canteen
The canteen on the school campus serves light snacks as well as hot and cold beverages. The canteen should be a place where a sense of togetherness and community feeling is garnered /generated
Safety & Security
At The Samarth School, the safety and security of the students and staff are of high priority. Our school is safely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic amidst a campus bound by high compound walls. There are multiple entry and exit points for the Kindergarten wing, primary wing, and students using private transportation at the school, supervised by trained security personnel with CCTV cameras fitted at every important location of the school. The school safety regulations set by the CBSE and the Directorate of Education, Delhi.
Water and Power Supply
The school has pure drinking water coolers for the children, duly tested and approved by the Health Department It is also equipped with stand-by generators for uninterrupted power supply.
Playground
Following a holistic approach to learning, the school strives to collaborate scholastics with sports. A large playground earmarked for various sports activities caters to the physical development of each learner. Each Day a period is allocated for a sport that lets the students learn the skills of team spirit, and healthy competition and extend their learning beyond classrooms.
Learning Enhancement Cell
To help children facing problems with reading, spelling, and comprehension, the school has set up a Learning Enhancement Cell which provides help to the students to cope with this stress and facilitates all-around personality growth. The cell maintains a flexible approach and helps the children to be aware of their forces and weaknesses through the process of counseling. The psychological counselor is available to the parent every Wednesday between 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. However, the students may see the counselor every day after making a prior appointment and getting the permission slip from the concerned teacher. Here students are screened, their problems are identified, and help is given accordingly.
